Latrice Jones-Bey, MBA COT OSC, is the founder and president of Eye Train Techs & Consulting. With over 25 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, Latrice has built an impressive career holding diverse roles, including technician, scribe, surgery scheduler, clinical trainer, and administrative roles. Her extensive background has given her a comprehensive understanding of the clinical and operational aspects of ophthalmic practices.

Leadership and Advocacy

Through Eye Train Techs & Consulting, as well as its sister organization, the Northeast Ohio Ophthalmic Personnel Society (NEO-OPS), Latrice is dedicated to promoting awareness about careers in ophthalmology and developing proficient ophthalmic personnel at all levels. This organization serve as a valuable resource for aspiring and experienced ophthalmic professionals seeking guidance, training, and career opportunities.

Professional Service

Latrice further contributes to the field by serving as a member of the planning committee for the Nurse/Technician Board for the Ohio Ophthalmological Society (OOS) and a board member for the American Academy of Ophthalmic Professionals (AAOP). In these roles, she is able to help shape industry standards, supports the professional development of technicians, and advocates for high-quality patient care through workshops, educational webinars, lectures and articles published through AAO.
